Social skills classes are small group courses that focus on the ins and outs of social interaction. They are offered on Saturdays and each term is 8 weeks long. We offer a fall, winter and spring term during the school year. These courses are educator developed, educator led and we staff a ratio of 1:3 (teacher to student). 1:1 support may be available if needed. For older students, groups meet for a lesson then go out into the community.
This “crew” is for those who have transitioned out of high school, but want a social group of peers to hang out with on a regular basis.
Camp Connections day camp is a unique program for children with Autism and related conditions offering social skills programming combined with goal-directed therapeutic recreation activities for children ages 5 and up. Each week includes fun, theme-centered activities, learning experiences, and field trips.
